The Opportunity
The Work Itself
- Support data analysis, data management, and delivery activities for the CFO Data, Analytics and AI team, with a focus on centralized finance data warehouse capabilities and governed CFO data products.
- Serve as a key liaison between finance process teams and technology partners to understand, interpret, document, and validate business data needs across Accounting, Controller, FP&A, Treasury, and related CFO domains
- Partner with Finance Product Owners to support requirements gathering, data analysis, data validation, epic/story development, status reporting, issue resolution, and delivery execution.
- Support the design and delivery of finance data solutions across data ingestion, transformation, consumption, analytics enablement, data quality, metadata, lineage, and control expectations.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of execution playbook deliverables, including business requirements, business cases, testing plans, change management materials, user adoption plans, and operational readiness documentation.
- Support the planning and delivery of CFO data transformation initiatives, including finance data warehouse enhancements, reporting enablement, downstream consumption needs, and adoption of governed data products.
- Perform data profiling, reconciliation, validation, and root-cause analysis to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source systems, Nucleus, and downstream reporting or analytics platforms.
- Help identify and document data quality issues, business rule gaps, control needs, and process improvements, while partnering with stakeholders to drive timely resolution.
- Support Finance and Technology teams during testing, implementation, post-production validation, and ongoing operational support.
- Contribute to the broader CFO Data, Analytics and AI roadmap by helping identify opportunities to improve data usability, automation, governance, and business value realization.
The Skills You Bring
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience as a product owner, data analyst, business analyst, or finance data management professional, preferably within banking, finance, or a related industry.
- Experience working across data management disciplines such as data ingestion, data consumption, BI/analytics, data quality, metadata, lineage, reconciliation, and reporting enablement.
- Working knowledge of SQL and experience with data warehouse or cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Oracle, or similar technologies.
- Foundational knowledge of finance, accounting, or treasury processes preferred, including financial close and consolidation, financial planning and forecasting, management reporting, regulatory reporting, treasury operations, cash management, asset and liability management, or capital markets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect business process, data, technology, and reporting needs across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Ability to operate as a bridge between business and technology teams, translating business requirements into clear data, reporting, and delivery needs.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track open items, and support delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex topics clearly for both business and technical audiences.
- Ability to proactively identify risks, data issues, dependencies, and control gaps, and help drive resolution with the right stakeholders.
- Demonstrated curiosity, ownership mindset, and willingness to learn new finance processes, data platforms, and analytics capabilities.
- Experience with Power BI, Jira, Agile delivery, finance transformation, ERP implementations, or AI-enabled analytics is a plus.
