The Opportunity

The Storefront UX Designer at Ally leverages their innovative user-centered design methodology to combine concepts and designs that create best-in-class customer experiences. They’ll partner with some of the industry's most talented, creative, and innovative content strategists, CX researchers, digital product owners, and developers to provide excellent interface design for storefront and authenticated areas of and its affiliated sites & digital applications

The Work Itself

  • Execute high quality designs for digital user experiences under the direction of the UX Design Manager
  • Ideate, design, and prepare digital assets for
  • Articulate design rationale and facilitate partnerships with digital product and business owners
  • Collaborate closely with content strategists, product owners, analytics, user research, and the accessibility team to create a unified, customer-driven design direction that meets business objectives
  • Execute competency in responsive and adaptive strategies for all digital designs
  • Partner with digital product and business to establish clear problem statements and measures of success

The Skills You Bring

  • 1+ years' experience as a UX Designer at an agency, retail, or financial services institution; experience in financial services preferred
  • Experience with mobile web design and/or responsive web design
  • Solutions oriented with the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing requirements and conditions
  • Excellent understanding of usability/user centered design, UX methodology, interactive design principles and best practices, web accessibility, and corporate branding
  • Experience creating end-to-end customer journeys, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Experience Manager), Sketch, Axure, and InVision preferred
  • Experience in an e-commerce, media, or start-up environment with short interval release cycles is a plus
