**Must be able to travel to different vendors. One of the vendors is in Mexico City so passport is required.**
Role Summary:
This role will serve as a single point of contact for effective communications of processes and systems with third-party collection agencies and leadership, with minimal supervision. This role consists of managing multiple vendors and various processes. It will lead onboarding, training, monitoring, quality/compliance, and complaint management for the Total Loss processes. The implementation of projects as assigned by management will determine effectiveness and potential risk to ensure adherence to process and procedural updates.
Additionally, this role includes working with supplier performance management and continuing monitoring for third-party service providers, conducting specialty tests for collections operations on behalf of Ally. The role will assess risks, conduct necessary calls as needed, create monthly performance scorecards for suppliers or business partners and work with various systems and processes.
The Work Itself
- Be the face of Ally to the vendor.
- Engage with internal and external Sr. Leaders as the primary Relationship Owner.
- Lead Total Loss in conducting strategic projects related to business operations, structure, risk, and personnel changes in addition to continuous strategic updates to processes and procedures.
- Implement solutions based on business continuity planning (BCP), risk profiles, and trends.
- Lead Total Loss in compliance/risk review, supplier reporting, and assessment.
- Ensure adherence to Ally policies, standards, best practices, tools, and metrics.
- Review and validation of supplier performance services provided, service level agreement (SLAs), and statements of work (SOW).
- Drive/influence metrics to measure supplier performance.
- Aid in developing/refining metrics to measure supplier & department performance.
- Lead Total Loss as the primary contact in supplier due diligence, performance management, and key participant in onboarding/offboarding suppliers.
- Resolve customer complaints found during process monitors or escalated from ECR, CFPB, consumer attorneys, etc.
- Utilize critical thinking skills for root cause analysis and solution sourcing for identified process gaps.
- Represent Ally in on-site visits to suppliers as needed/required to ensure supplier compliance while leading performance reviews.
- Adhere to standard cadence of on-site visits to ensure compliance with all supplier contracts.

- Education, Certification & Years of Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or applicable years of business experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience in the financial services or automotive finance industry is required.
- 2-5+ years of Insurance/Total Loss industry knowledge or financial services industry knowledge.
- Project/Process Management knowledge and application is a plus.
