- 40 hours each week with a mix of in-office and remote working days

- Successful interns will have the opportunity to return to Ally in an Early Talent Program or full-time role, or to a second internship, depending upon graduation timing.
The Work Itself
Areas of Opportunity
- Finance & Insurance (F&I) Products - this group is responsible for the development and management of Ally Insurance's F&I products. The team continually evaluates the marketplace to identify new, or updates to existing products to support F&I growth. The team will develop strategies to distribute those products and work with stakeholders to bring them to market.
- Ally Dealership Insurance (ADI) Account - Management - The ADI Account Management team are the primary relationship owners for ADI Insurance products. Part of the team is dealer-facing and has ownership over the current book of insurance business, overseeing the policy renewal pipeline and serving customer needs. The other portion of the team is non-dealer-facing and is dedicated solely to new business, working with ADI Sales to analyze risk exposures and assemble submissions.
- Ally Dealership Insurance (ADI) Underwriting - this team manages the inventory insurance for Ally. The team underwrites new and renewal business within our three inventory insurance programs, as well as managing a portion of our large group program. The team determines dealers risk eligibility, pricing and terms, along with answering coverage questions for our respective clients.
- Strategic Alliances - The Strategic Alliances team manages a portfolio of third-party partnerships. Partnerships focus on reinsurance and insurance distribution and are generally diversifying for Ally's insurance business (which is concentrated in the automotive space). Our team strives to identify the best possible potential partners for Ally (i.e., strong economics, unique learning opportunities). The team is responsible for regular reporting on program performance and results.
The Skills You Bring
- Rising Junior or Senior (during the time of internship) in a full-time undergraduate program.
- Major/Course of Study: Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrates Analytical Thinking, Collaboration, Learning Agility.
- Available for the full duration of the internship program.
- Eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
