Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity

The Legal and Corporate Affairs (LCA) Business Analytics internship with Ally will move you from Educated to Experienced; connecting you with diverse teams and functions across the country. You will have the opportunity to interact with Ally's leadership and learn from their personal successes. The Ally internship program seeks to guide and mentor students with development opportunities designed to provide a bridge between the academic world and the world of business. #LI-DNP

The Details
  • Internship Program Timing: May 26 – August 7, 2026
  • 40 hours each week with a mix of in-office and remote working days
  • Project-based work
  • Market competitive hourly compensation and a sign-on bonus, as well as financial housing assistance for those who qualify
  • Successful interns will have the opportunity to return to Ally in an Early Talent Program or full-time role, or to a second internship, depending upon graduation timing

The Work Itself

The LCA Business Analytics internship is comprised of opportunities within the Office of Legal and Corporate Affairs and Compliance. The responsibilities of these functions are to drive the company’s culture of compliance with laws, regulations, and company polices through the utilization of data and reporting (SQL, R, Python, Excel). The 

LCA interns will have the opportunity to:

· Attend formal company orientation and training

· Participate in executive speaking series

· Have hands on experience in area of study; as well as participate in project-based work

· Participate in an Employee Resource Group mentoring program

· Lead an end of assignment presentation

· Leadership and career development

· Networking opportunities

The Skills You Bring


Required qualifications. 

  • Rising Junior or Senior (during the time of internship) in a full-time undergraduate program.  
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.  
  • Available for the full duration of the internship program. 
  • Eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship from the company now or in the future.  


Preferred qualifications.   

  • Previous internship experience or relevant project work is preferred. 
  • Extracurricular activities/leadership experience is preferred (student organizations, volunteering, sports, part-time roles, etc.).
