The Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Manager for Special Servicing, this position is primarily responsible for the performance and well managed aspect of the Deceased and Revisions Accounts Handling team within Special Servicing. This role will lead a team and all aspects of the Deceased and Revisions Accounts process which includes but is not limited to onboarding, training, quality, compliance, complaint coaching, reporting, performance management of both external suppliers and internal teams as well as performance business review decks.This position will also create and partner to implement strategies, market shifts and performance adjustments within the Deceased and Revisions team to support our continued effort drive cost efficiencies, performance lift and profitability for Ally.
Location: Lewisville, TX. Position is hybrid. Minimum 3 days in office, with 2 WFH days.
The Work Itself
- Be the face of Ally to our Deceased and Revisions Vendor network
- Lead the Business Unit in consistency, guidance and direction in matters concerning the interpretation and application of Ally BCP policies, standards, best practices and business continuity planning software, tools and priorities.
- Hold Vendors accountable to applicable laws and regulations associated with the Deceased accounts / Revisions procedures
- Lead / own conducting annual reviews of NAO BCP for changes to business operations, structure, risk profile, personnel changes and geographical location in addition to continuous strategic updates to processes and procedure.
- Lead any compliance/cost issues related to supplier
- Lead in developing/ driving /refining appropriate metrics to measure supplier performance
- Lead any supplier due diligence, performance management, market shift and / or termination
- Adhere to standard cadence of On-site visits to suppliers as needed / requested to ensure compliance as well as performance reviews / quality standards and trends
- Lead designated projects from start to finish focusing on process efficiency and compliance with Ally's policies and procedures
- Montior and update necessary RCSA controls and ensure those controls are being evidenced appropriately
- Demonstrates strong analytical, process mapping, and organizational skill set
- Demonstrates a high degree of personal accountability, passion, and execution
- Other duties as assigned
The Skills You Bring
- 5 + years experience in account servicing in Financial industries preferred and specific experience as a supervisor or leader preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Certifications in area of specialization strongly preferred
- High level of written and oral communication skills
- Progressive experience in developing/executing strategies on staffing plans and managing budgets
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills; strong analytical skills
- Negotiation/conflict resolution skills
- Must be an independent worker with strong time management skills
- Project / Process Management framework knowledge and application is a preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in fast paced environment;
- Able to travel overnight (25% +/-)
