Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. If you are calm, cool and collected (no pun intended) then this is the right opportunity for you! You'll be helping our customers while working in a fun team environment. You'll go home feeling like you made a difference. As a Sr. Rep – Recoveries Ops, you'll spend your day speaking with customers over the phone assisting them with finding solutions to resolve title concerns, disputes, OCAs, and affidavits. Every call is an opportunity for you to use your negotiating and relationship building skills to partner with customers and create long lasting business relationships. As a member of the team, you will receive extensive training with an emphasis on compliance and negotiating and selling skills to ensure routines are consistent and based on industry best practices. This position provides an opportunity to grow individual leadership, knowledge of Auto Finance, and may lead to supervisory or management opportunities!

The Work Itself

  • Complete transfer of ownership documentation for contractual obligation
  • Manage Liable Parties on Auto contracts through retail assumptions, cobuyer to guarantor, or transfer of lease obligation
  • Follow Customer Identification Program (CIP procedures) as required by BSA/AML
  • Handle recovery and collection accounts, inquiries, and invoicing from customers
  • Process and notarize legal documents with speed and accuracy
  • Participate and / or lead one of our various internal associate led products within Recoveries to showcase and grow your leadership and problem-solving skillset
  • Act as a mentor to new hires and assist in new hire trainings through side x sides and on the job training assistance
  • Use computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting
  • Complete back office administration tasks in relation to Recoveries/ Account Revisions

The Skills You Bring

  • HS diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree preferred and 3 years of experience performing customer service, administrative duties, and/or collection/recovery efforts within a financial institution required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume, call center environment
  • Excellent listening, oral - written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Professional phone etiquette and persuasive negotiation skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and informed of changes in policy and procedures
  • Microsoft Windows and Internet-based applications experience required
  • Performance Measurements may include meeting required metric standards monthly, daily Scorecard, monthly recovery targets set by the department

Base Pay Range: $48880 - $57200 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. 
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
