Shape the future of digital servicing at Ally.

We’re looking for a visionary Senior Director of Product to lead the charge in transforming how millions of customers interact with Ally. This role owns a high-impact portfolio of four core products spanning six customer communication channels—voice, chat, secure messaging, email, chat bots, and voice bots—as well as enterprise-scale back-office automation. You’ll set the strategy, launch breakthrough capabilities, and build the technology platforms that power Ally’s contact center and customer experience operations.

As the Senior Director of Product, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver products that are secure, scalable, and relentlessly focused on customer experience. You’ll partner with engineering, operations, and design leaders to push the boundaries of what’s possible—introducing AI-driven solutions, simplifying customer journeys, and creating experiences that feel effortless from first interaction to resolution. The role will hold a highly influential role and is responsible for delivering various capabilities to meet strategy, initiatives and established goals.

The Work Itself

Lead enterprise-scale product delivery for contact center across digital and voice channels, including responsibility for roadmaps for functions, support infrastructure, and operational enhancements - and lead the execution of that roadmap, coordinating efforts and aligning activities across both internal and external organizations. Maintain, sustain and identify product improvements for respective scope including investigation of competitive assessments and research best in class practices. Own the vision and roadmap for four core products serving six communication channels and back-office automation capabilities. Sell the strategic vision to executive management for approval and funding. Introduce and scale AI-powered capabilities that transform call handling, authentication, and self-service. Manage multi-million-dollar budgets and strategic vendor partnerships to maximize value and accelerate delivery. Align complex business needs with innovative technology solutions, bringing stakeholders together to deliver measurable impact. Mentor and grow top-tier product talent, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and results.

The Skills You Bring


  • 10+ years of experience developing and execution of plans, initiatives, and communications related to specific products.
  • 7+ years managing teams of product owners or simliar.
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, information systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Experience defining/documenting competitive markets requirements and opportunities and provide ongoing support that ensures the competitiveness of existing products.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale product portfolios in financial services or other complex, regulated industries.
  • Expertise in product strategy, agile delivery, and end-to-end lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated success integrating AI/ML into customer-facing or operational products.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to inspire cross-functional alignment.
  • Experience managing significant budgets and strategic vendor relationships. 
  • A balance of innovation and operational rigor, with a deep understanding of risk, compliance, and security in product delivery.
Preferred Experience:
  • 5 years of call center or contact center experience, directly or indirectly.

Base Pay Range: $165000 - $240000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. 
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
