The Opportunity
Location: hybrid in-office in our Downers Grove, IL office
Responsible for the management of Consumer Credit - Operation's loan activities. Executes consumer loan policies and varied strategies in order to maximize portfolio performance and meet Ally revenue commitments for a defined geographical region.
The Work Itself
- Directs assigned business development activities in order to grow the portfolio and meet performance objectives.
- Builds and strengthens rapport with dealer body by effectively communicating Ally credit policy/strategic objectives.
- Continually identify and develop company talent; mentor direct reports; establish annual objectives and monitor on-going performance; address performance concerns.
The Skills You Bring
- 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent required
- 10+ years in customer service or financial services industry is needed.
- 5+ years leadership experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred, MBA is ideal.
- Technical knowledge, project management, and ability to influence others.
- Acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities.
- Accountability for business, functional, or operational areas, processes, or programs.
- Data management capabilities.
- Automotive experience including sales, strategy development, project leadership.
- Experience leading a team, and managing to achieve business plan results.
