The Opportunity

  • We are looking for a team member with excellent communication skills, with a background in technology, business intelligence, and strong logic and problem solving. This team member will support growing Analytics capabilities and emerging technologies for the Originations team.

The Work Itself

Responsible for the design, development and support of business intelligence solutions to meet reporting and analytic needs from our business partners

          Implement robust, reliable and custom reporting and visualizations using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, Excel)

          Develop and maintain self-service reporting solutions and/or automated solutions

          Use SQL as main tool for data preparation: extracting, cleansing, aggregation and summarizing data to create meaningful visualizations

          Ensure the quality and accuracy of data by creating automated testing scripts

          Participate in the design and implementation of logical and physical data models

          Review proposed production changes to ensure highest quality data standards and lowest production impact

          Navigate, understand, and leverage existing complex data structures for reporting

          Support production BI solutions by monitoring and tuning SQL queries and data loads

          Addressing user questions concerning data integrity

          Monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues proactively

          Interact with senior management, department leaders and other employees to develop and reach agreement on reporting requirements and priorities

          Experience in designing and implementing custom reporting and visualizations using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Cognos)

The Skills You Bring

  • 6+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, Masters is a plus
  • Technologies / Coding Languages: RDBMS: Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake, SQL server, etc. Scripting/Query Languages: (Required Advance) - Python, SQL,SAS
    Data platforms: Hadoop, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle
    Reporting - Power BI ( Preferred )
  • Strong technical knowledge and/or skills for area of expertise AND/OR management knowledge of Data Analytics reporting and management
  • General understanding of the requirements of the entire function
  • Strong background building and maintaining data infrastructure
  • Strong platform & tool skills
  • Complex Problem solving skills
