The Opportunity
This role will be responsible for helping develop and maintain the day-to-day reporting, data analysis, and strategies supporting the Enterprise Fraud, Security and Investigations (EFSI) team specifically related to the Cyber Fraud Fusion Center, Internal/Corporate Fraud and Physical Security. This role will be responsible for providing analytic support to the EFSI Investigation teams in the form of counter fraud strategy development, ad hoc analysis, reporting and ongoing Project involvement.

Job Responsibilities
- Define, build and document the end-to-end process of fraud prevention alerting strategies
- Define and recommend measurements, strategies, and reporting using data to drive valuable business decisions in regard to fraud
- Leverage Data Science techniques to for advanced problem solving and fraud detection
- Increase productivity and improve effectiveness of existing processes
- Work with EFSI Team members to identify and assess fraud referral channels across Ally product lines to maximize effectiveness rates
- Work with both internal and external resources to identify key data elements for inclusion and use in development of new strategies
- Support ad-hoc requests from business partners
- Make control recommendations for identifying gaps that need attention
- Identify and escalate risks and controls
The Skills You Bring
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Information Science or similar background
- 2-4 Years of Data and Business Analysis required, preferable with a banking or financial institution
- Must have experience with Python, R, SAS, SQL programing language and writing queries in Oracle, Snowflake or other relational databases
- 1-3 Years of Auto ML experience or other modeling experience
- Expert level usage of all MS Office tools, especially Power BI
- Must have an understanding and commitment of the continuous business improvement process.
- Knowledge of risk management and control principles
Education and experience requirements:
- Education level: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years working at a financial services institution

- Must be fully committed to providing exceptional customer service to business partners and fraud risk leadership
