Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity

We are seeking a Sourcing Analyst II - Supply Chain to support delivering services to Ally's Auto Finance and Insurance line of business. The successful candidate will participate in the identification and management of supplier risk. These activities will involve assisting with negotiating contracts and statements of work and the completion of risk assessments for suppliers providing various goods and services through established corporate acquisition processes.

The Work Itself

  • Responsible for sourcing, supplier management, and other supplier activities in support of the Auto Finance and Insurance business line.
  • Support contract management activities, including drafting amendments, renewals, and terminations under guidance.
  • Participate in project management activities, program development efforts, process enhancement initiatives, and compliance management efforts intended to facilitate achievement of objectives.
  • Conduct market research and cost analysis to identify competitive pricing and innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Regularly interacts with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provides insight on trends.
  • Applies knowledge of company policies and standard practices to resolve problems and escalates non-standard problems or issues.
  • Team player; high level of interpersonal skills required to work effectively with others; seek to create harmony vs. conflict and exhibit Supply Chain knowledge to interact with Line of Business staff and external suppliers.
  • Analyzes issues and uses judgment to make decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Analyze data and recommend enhancements and various process management needs for Supply Chain and Ally. 
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 1+ year of previous internship or work experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across business levels (both vertically and horizontally).
  • Ability to support multiple assignments and stakeholders, prioritize workload for self, and coordinate with teammates to meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience with ERP or procurement systems such as Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Workday, or related, preferred.
  • Experience conducting market research and cost analysis, preferred.
  • Comfortable working in an evolving and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, energetic, motivated, and action-oriented.

Base Pay Range: $55000 - $95000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. 
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
