The Opportunity

The Social Media Analyst role will be responsible for social listening and analysis including the detailed reporting and production of compelling analysis and actionable business insights.  Candidates will need to demonstrate a strong background in social media analytics and intelligence, and strong logic and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for deep research, risk monitoring, reporting on financial industry-related topics, trends and social insights that impact our brand and business.

The Work Itself

  • Provide proactive social listening and production process of key themes, trends and emerging topics that affect our business
  • Prepare deep dive qualitative analysis of social data around topics, products, and business lines
  • Report metrics from Social Media analysis tools and across a variety of sources to create dynamic visualizations
  • Support the social media analysis tool daily, ensuring proper functionality and accuracy of data
  • Support for crisis communications and listening impact analysis
  • Participate in status calls to understand business needs and to provide insights
  • Work with analytics and research teams to understand customer profile insights and behaviors that help nurture marketing strategies
  • Support the team in managing our Social Media Command Center displays
  • Be a subject matter expert and deliver ad hoc presentations to leadership as needed

 

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • 1+ years of professional experience in analytics / reporting, preferably in financial services
  • Experience presenting deliverables with commentary, verbatim and visualization of data
  • Exposure to social monitoring tools such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Netbase, Meltwater, Sprout Social
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to work with diverse business partners with competing objectives
  • Attention to detail and strong focus on quality
