Our software engineers identify and capitalize on emerging technology trends, spot industry trends, and leverage outside-in thinking to demonstrate the art of the possible within technology.  You’ll join a rapidly growing team with a proven track record of introducing game-changing technology. 

The Work Itself

  • Rapidly prototype and develop using .NET Core, Lambdas, messaging techniques, and containers. 
  • Build APIs and other full-stack applications ensuring that the code follows latest coding practices and industry standards
  • Assist in the integration of new APIs into client-side applications
  • Work in an Agile environment and gain exposure to continuous integration and delivery tools and build consensus regarding project direction.
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve and understand complex technical and design issues
  • Actively studying new and emerging technologies and carrying out POCs
  • Serve as a mentor for junior engineers and peers in the software development practice to help them grow in their technical responsibilities and remove blockers

The Skills You Bring

  • Experience working in development, DevOps, or comparable positions with exposure to full stack development 
  • Ability to think thoroughly about systems and services and write high quality code. We work mostly in .NET Core/C# with Angular/React on the front-end. However, languages can be learned: we care much more about your general engineering skill than knowledge of a particular language or framework.
  • A self-starting mentality and passion for experimentation, with interests in game-changing technology and identifying unconventional opportunities for success
  • Comfort dealing with change and ambiguity, and excitement for moving quickly
  • Deep knowledge and interest in IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, and their application to business opportunities
  • Passion for creating value for both internal and external Ally users, and enthusiasm for Agile processes that help develop these products
  • Desire to work within a diverse group of people and passion for challenging the status quo
