Senior Executive Assistant to Chief Risk Officer (CRO) .

The Opportunity
This role is onsite daily in our Charlotte, NC office.
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in a fast-paced financial services environment. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The Executive Assistant will serve as a key liaison between the CRO, internal stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication within the Risk Management function.
The Work Itself
- Manage the CRO’s calendar, schedule meetings, coordinate appointments, and arrange travel logistics.
- Prepare, review, and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents for the CRO.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, including Risk Committee meetings, board presentations, and cross-functional sessions; prepare agendas, take minutes, and track action items.
- Screen and prioritize incoming communications, responding on behalf of the CRO as appropriate.
- Maintain confidential files and records related to risk management, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and documentation.
- Coordinate with other executive assistants and departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Support special projects and initiatives led by the CRO, including risk assessments, audits, and strategic planning.
- Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely completion.
- Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- May produce expense reports for department.
- May process invoices for payment.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of experience as an executive assistant, preferably in financial services or a regulated industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual meeting platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with risk management, compliance, or regulatory environments is a plus.
