Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity

The Sr. Director of Protection Services leads the organization’s executive protection and physical security programs, ensuring the safety of senior leadership, employees, and facilities.  This role oversees the security operations center, contracted guard force, and executive protection team, while implementing proactive strategies to mitigate risks and respond to emerging threats.  This position requires a proven, experienced leader with sound judgement, strong decision-making skills, and expertise in protective operations and corporate security.

The Work Itself

·       Lead the Protective Services program, ensuring comprehensive security for executives, employees, and facilities.

·       Oversee executive protection planning, staffing, and operations to safeguard senior leaders domestically and internationally.

·       Manage the security operations center, contracted guard force, and physical security team.

·       Develop and implement policies, procedures, and technologies to strengthen security posture and escalate concerns to appropriate parties in an urgent, clear and concise timely manner.

·       Partner with Facility Management and IT to deploy advanced access control, video surveillance, and behavioral analytics tools.

·       Conduct threat and risk assessments; provide actionable recommendations to senior executives and use sound judgment to escalate security concerns.

·       Design and maintain training programs for security personnel.

·       Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert on protective services and physical security.

·       Proactively establish and maintain collaborative relationships with strategic partners, including other financial institution security personnel, federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, and community development groups.

The Skills You Bring

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

·       10+ years of progressive leadership in executive protection, physical security, or law enforcement.

·       Strong knowledge of protective operations, guard force management, and security technology.

·       Demonstrated sound judgement, discretion, and ability to escalate issues to senior leadership in a timely and appropriate manner. 

·       Excellent leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.

 

Preferred:

·       Master’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.

·       Industry certifications such as CPP, PSP, or CFE.

·       Experience in the financial services sector or other highly regulated industries.

Base Pay Range: $165000 - $240000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. 
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
