The Opportunity

This position as Treasury Analyst is responsible for performing the day to day activities for the Collateral and Counterparty Management team. 

The Work Itself

  • Manage daily collateral/margin activities, such as daily collateral/margin calls, counterparty reconciliations, counterparty variances and dispute analysis/resolution. 
  • On-boarding of new counterparties, such as Master Agreement negotiations and the Know Your Customer (KYC/AML/OFAC) process.   
  • Ensuring that processes and procedures are followed and provide recommendations for process improvement and implementation of recommended enhancements.
  • Extensive and appropriate communication with the trading desk, operations, market and credit risk, finance/accounting, legal, and compliance . 
  • This position will require strong business relationships with these same groups and will often take the lead for meetings hosted. 
  • Managing special projects as needed.

The Skills You Bring

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Collateral Management, Counterparty Mangement, Treasury, or Capital Markets.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or accounting preferred.
  • Product knowledge of fixed income, investments, and derivatives.
  • Knowlege of KYC requirements/process.
  • Stong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to drive process improvements.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision while applying previous experience to execute moderately complex tasks.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using standard procedures.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and high degree of self-motivation.
  • Comfortable interacting with other personnel in group or support staff from other departments; may interact with other internal and external personnel (i.e., external auditors, regulators) on specific projects or routine matters, usually under supervision.
