Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity

The Sr Analyst, Workday Reporting & Analytics will be working with a highly motivated data management, reporting, dashboarding, and PRISM analytics team under a centrally created Enabling Solutions team for Ally human resources. You will be responsible for working across technology partners and business teams to build centralized data solutions for our partners. You will need to have excellent communication skills and experience working with a high potential team; with a background in technology and business intelligence. Your responsibilities are centered to innovate, build, and maintain well-managed data/BI solutions and capabilities to tackle HR problems. This position will leverage Workday reporting, Workday dashboarding, Workday Discovery boards, and Workday Prism analytics.

The Work Itself

 

  • Create data products that are effective in providing accurate, timely, and relevant information to support strategic decision-making
  • Partner with operational leaders to provide data support and gather requirements to produce insight driven data products
  • Comfortable using the Agile methodologies and concepts to manage workload and capacity
  • Work as a data product owner to manage sprint deliverables and deliver superior data solutions
  • Provide subject matter expertise and implement Workday reporting and dashboarding best practices

 

 

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in the field of Computer Science, MIS, IT or Engineering preferred
  • 3+ years of HCM reporting, analytics, and data warehousing experience
  • 3+ years of proven ability building and maintaining Workday Reporting & PRISM Analytics
  • Workday Pro Reporting Certification required
  • Workday Prism Analytics Certification required
  • Programming experience in SQL preferred
  • Experience with relational database concepts
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI preferred
  • Experience using JIRA preferred
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and concepts preferred
  • Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques to quickly identify and resolve bugs and/or data-related issues
  • Proven experience with team collaboration on projects and meeting rigid timelines
  • Strong presentation skills, including ability to articulate complex problems in a simple manner

Base Pay Range: $70000 - $120000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. 
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
