The Opportunity

This position will report to the Treasury Capital Markets Manager and will collaborate across the Treasury Capital Markets team to support and/or identify business strategic initiatives. The Senior Analyst will also prepare the counterparty credit reviews and exposure reporting. The outcome of these responsibilities is to provide the leadership team with superior decision-making ability by providing the required credit risk framework, analysis, and exposure reporting.


The Work Itself

  • Works with counterparty management leadership to provide on-going analysis of our counterparty credit risk.
  • Support counterparty review, set limits, and monitoring/reporting on exposure and limit breaches.
  • Support onboarding of counterparties including legal agreement negotiations and regulatory know your customer review.
  • Support ongoing due diligence of our counterparty credit risk, know your customer and OFAC/negative news screenings.
  • Drive opportunities for automation, streamline and improve processes, and eliminate manual touchpoints.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives to enhance how we manage counterparties and the systems and models used to perform the analysis.
  • Analyze and improve processes.

  • Applies relevant regulations, policies and procedures to business issues and day to day responsibilities. 

The Skills You Bring

  • 3+ years in capital markets or treasury with experience in counterparty credit risk.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics strongly preferred.
  • Previous work experience in capital markets, treasury, or finance fields and counterparty credit risk experience required.
  • Product knowledge for fixed income investments, equities, and derivatives.
  • Analytical skills including the ability to manage and organize data, draw valid conclusions from data through analysis.
  • Ability to analyze counterparty credit risk.
  • Ability to communicate methodology and conclusions to senior management.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Effective management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to work independently.
