The Opportunity
Responsible for partnering with both Auto operational and support teams to manage risk through risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) facilitation and maintenance. The ability to act proactively and in autonomy is essential for success in this role, as are exemplary critical thinking and control gap analysis skills.
The Work Itself
The following outline the core job responsibilities of the Business Process Risk Management (BPRM) Analyst aligned to the Process team:
· Continuously monitor and enhance control environments in support of reducing residual risk across Auto Consumer Asset Management (CAM), Strategic Decision Sciences (SDS) and Auto Consumer Operations Shared Services (ACOSS) functions.
· Support business lines in the timely and accurate execution of the RCSA campaigns, Trigger Events, and pRCSAs.
· Partner with Operational Risk Management, Business Line Risk, and Compliance, among others, to ensure consistency and alignment with the Enterprise RCSA Standard and Procedures.
· Collaborate with Audit, Issues Management, and Policy and Process activities to ensure seamless updates to control environments and corresponding process documentation.
· Identify potential control gaps and strengthen existing controls through constructive challenging of business line processes.
· Regularly facilitate execution and working sessions with operational business line and support partner leadership.
· Proactively seek out ways to develop and foster relationships and support site objectives.
· Leverage Jira and Archer tools for daily tracking of issues, regulatory changes, RCSAs, and issues management follow-up.
The Skills You Bring

Required
· Bachelor’s degree (Business) OR equivalent in work experience.
· 3+ years Risk Management experience
· 3+ years Facilitating and communicating with diverse stakeholders
· 5+ years Identifying and mitigating risk
· 5+ years Distilling and presenting information to leadership
· 5+ years Analyzing business problems and influencing outcomes
· Advanced experience in consumer financing industry (auto, mortgage, etc.)
· Experience in auto finance: collections, loss prevention, repossession, special servicing and/or recovery operations
· Advanced working experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Advanced oral and written communication skills
· Advanced presentation, time management, teamwork, collaboration, business acumen and critical thinking skills.
Preferred
· Master’s degree (Business) OR equivalent in work experience.
· Prior experience working in Archer.
· Prior experience working in Jira.
· Advanced working experience with Microsoft Project or other PM software and Visio)
· Advanced strategic thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
