The Opportunity

The Strategy Analytics Stipulation Optimization team is responsible for supporting initiatives related to the auto lifecycle with an emphasis on stipulations processes and policies. The team is responsible for data identification, data extraction, data processing, analysis (descriptive & predictive analytics), and the communication of recommendations to executive leadership. Our efforts result in the optimization of processes and procedures, go-to-market strategy, and business performance.


The Work Itself

  • The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for completing the work necessary to define project or analysis scope, identify required and available data, query relational database, process extracted data, and develop final recommendation
  • The regular creation of data visuals and presentations will be required to package output for distribution. 
  • For repeated processes, the Sr. Analyst is expected to become the subject matter expert able to parse relevant scripts and resolve complications as they arise
  • With assistance from their direct supervisor, the Sr. Analyst will be asked to determine future areas for analysis, assist with project management, and assist more junior team members with their tasks
  • Analyze monthly operating results and monthly variances; identify problems and research potential recommendations for corrective actions
  • Interface with various stakeholders within asset performance, credit risk, finance and strategy and analytics organizations to provide timely and accurate analysis.
  • Able to deliver accurate results within expected deadlines.

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in analytics / reporting, preferably in financial services
  • Expertise in data analytics tools like SQL, SAS, Python, or R
  • Expertise in Excel and familiarity with VBA, Power BI a plus
  • Demonstrated ability creating and presenting analyses using PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented with ability to take projects from concept to actionable recommendation
  • Critical thinker with demonstrated ability solving complex problems
  • Comfortable as an individual contributor and with directing the efforts of junior staff
  • Demonstrated ability referencing developer documentation to solve coding challenges
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability identifying and completing self-directed learning
  • Comfortable speaking with and presenting to analytics leadership
  • Work well within a team of analysts and collaborate with individuals with technical and non-technical backgrounds
  • Basic knowledge of statistics and models preferred
  • Experience with designing and implementing champion challenger strategies preferred.
