The Opportunity

The Senior Deal Desk Analyst will work directly with members of our Sales and Account Management teams to manage the contract process. Working cross functionally with Legal, Finance, Operations, Sales this role will be responsible for managing the execution of non-standard quotes, analyzing customer data, and responding to redlines for new customers. This role is not only focused on helping individual contracts get executed but has an aim towards improving the overall contracting process. The individual must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.

The Work Itself

  • Provide support for pricing approval process to ensure compliance with all established pricing guidelines for new and existing customers
  • Work closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Revenue Recognition teams on complex pricing structures and custom pricing/language needs
  • Escalation point for approval decisions on financial requests related non-standard pricing and T&C redlines
  • Partner with Sales Operations to drive the implementation and adoption of new tools related to the contract process that align to Legal, Risk and Compliance requirements such as Salesforce CPQ or Ironclad
  • Integrate new product and service offerings into the standard pricing and contract process
  • Identify and escalate roadblocks that may appear during the contract process
  • Identify and execute process improvement opportunities related to the contract process
  • Provide analysis on contract volume and deal cycle time
  • Present and communicate deal structure effectively to a variety of stakeholders and proactively partner with senior business leaders

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in legal and/or life cycle contract management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Salesforce CPQ, Ironclad or similar tools
  • Demonstrates analytical/quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Solid technical skills including advanced Microsoft Excel modeling skills
  • Strong attention to detail in analytical assessments
