We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Red Team Lead to drive and expand our adversary simulation capabilities. As a Red Team Lead, you will proactively and methodically perform adversary simulations/emulations, develop tooling and infrastructure, and act as an SME to the team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity analysts, engineers, and stakeholders, to enhance the organization's detection and response capabilities.

The Work Itself
- Continuously research new threats and TTPs.
- Plan and conduct realistic, goal-oriented red team engagements simulating APTs, insider threats, and other advanced tactics.
- Develop and maintain tools, infrastructure, and refine adversary tradecraft.
- Assist junior engineers with improving and completing tasks when needed.
- Create, update, and maintain playbooks to ensure consistent and repeatable practices.
- Produce professional grade reports based on the emulations and simulations you perform.
- Conduct threat hunts as required.
- Although quite rare, the ability to travel up to twice a year.
- Train junior engineers and other cross-functional teams.
- Have strong attention to detail and ability to produce professional grade reports.
The Skills You Bring
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in offensive security.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting adversary simulations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a SOC and/or IT admin role.
- Experience evading security products such as EDR, email gateways, antivirus, etc.
- Experience exploiting Active Directory while remaining stealthy.
- Deep understanding of adversary infrastructure such as C2, redirectors, mail servers, etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications or ability to obtain within a year (funded by Ally): CRTO, CRTL, CPTS, CAPE, OSEP, etc.
- Having published CVEs.
- Experience conducting physical engagements.
