The Opportunity

In the role of an RPA Developer, you will work cross-functionally with business partners and, IT operations to design and manage workflow automation projects.  That will include developing, testing, implementation, maintenance and enhancing automation solutions.

Our ideal candidate will provide expertise on RPA technologies, oversight and assurance of the automation environment’s performance, integrity, and system stability. The RPA Developer is involved building, developing, testing and deploying automation components. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional technical teams, business analysts and key stakeholders to determine viable process candidates for automation, the mapping and modeling of process automation and maintaining the environment to ensure it remains highly available for business-critical processes.

The Work Itself

  • Translate business requirements and processes into technical specifications specific to robotics automation solutions
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to perform analysis and design.
  • Develop testing strategies and scenarios for review with both project and client teams to ensure quality and completeness
  • Utilize RPA logs to identify and resolve problems
  • Design technical solutions to automate business processes and build automations using Automation Anywhere
  • Create and execute tests to evaluate functional and non-functional performance of solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in the production environment
  • Adhere to best practices and participate in team meetings to further mature standards and practices of the development team
  • Provide feedback to other developers by performing code reviews and technical design reviews
  • Experience with on-prem and cloud installation using Automation Anywhere
  • Understanding of different implementation paths for attended and unattended automations.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
  • Experience with Scrum / Agile development methodologies

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree---preferred
  • Proven experience and certification (highly preferred) as a Developer in Automation Anywhere for 2+ years
  • Over all IT development experience for 4+ years
  • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting methods
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience using Atlassian tools, JIRA and Confluence
  • Comfortable leading technical demos with non-technical audiences
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed
