The Opportunity
- Ally Account Executive – F&I Sales, reporting to the Director of Sales – Eastern Canada, is responsible for the direct/indirect sales promotion of all products that fall under the Ally/GM/Subaru umbrella.
- Responsibilities include working with all car dealership personnel who are involved with F&I products to improve dealer business performance.
- The consultation, creation and sharing of sales strategies to appropriate dealership staff and follow-up of dealership to ensure accurate procedures are followed for reporting of products sold.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada, and reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Greater Quebec City, Quebec area requiring travel servicing dealers throughout the Saguenay, Côte-Nord and Gaspé peninsula area. Company vehicle provided.
The Work Itself
- Manage sales activity and provide essential training in all departments at dealerships relating to Vehicle Service Contracts and CPO programs (Used Vehicle Dept., F&I Dept., Sales, Service, Accounting).
- Analyze statistical reports and data to monitor and manage dealer account performance for maximum efficiency and counsel dealers on best practices to maximize returns in the F&I, Used Car and Service Departments.
- Perform Brand Standards Evaluation at CPO dealerships to assess dealership performance and adherence to our partner CPO standards and prescribed processes.
- Develop and execute territory plan to include identification of target conquest accounts and target performance accounts for focused activity to acquire new business or drive performance improvements relative to VSC and ancillary products.
- Assist dealership sales personnel and serve as a resource providing mechanical products and processing training expertise. Serve as a subject matter expert relative to VSC Products and CPO programs.
The Skills You Bring
- Fluently bilingual in French and English both verbal and written, required.
- Sales experience required, preferably b2b.
- Experience working in a dealership or in a dealer-facing capacity required.
- 3+ years of successful professional experience in automotive sales management or financial services management.
- Prior experience in promoting a wide range of automotive F&I products such as service contracts (extended warranties), prepaid maintenance, and ancillary products is preferred.
- Dealership operations and insurance product knowledge preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- High School diploma or GED/equivalent required. Business related undergraduate degree is preferred as well as industry designations.
- Ability to develop business relationships with dealer principles and decision makers.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Well-developed business management, presentation and relationship selling skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to objectively manage conflicting priorities.
- Demonstrate a high level of accountability, positive attitude, openness to change, self-motivation, and willingness to increase performance.
