The Opportunity
The purpose of this position is to identify potential areas of risk and ensure strong internal controls exist within the CAM Recoveries space. This role is part of a team which will act as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that controls within the Recoveries space are either being appropriately monitored, evaluated, investigated, resolved & reported or a combination of responsibilities. May work special projects from time to time.
The Work Itself
- Work in a team responsible for the review and coordination of control-related activities for the Recoveries Operation.
- Handles complex problems and issues, investigating and eliminating problem situations.
- Maintain monthly average target of Quality Control evaluations/tests completed per day or by the deadline.
- Demonstrates a consistent level of accuracy and objectivity in the scoring of evaluations or testing.
- Review results with local management; document action plans to address deficiencies.
- Responsible for follow up and completion of any required retests.
- Serve as a go-to-person supporting team lead, providing front line support to the business.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of corporate policies and procedures including applicable state and federal regulations related to compliance.
- Recognize and relay repetitive Quality Control deficiencies that may require additional development.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
The Skills You Bring
- High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 2 years’ experience in supported value stream required (i.e. Collections, Customer Service, Remarketing, Loss Mitigation) required
- A strong understanding of Auto Finance and the various stages of delinquency required
