Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity

Ally Invest is looking for an Application Manager to join our Production Engineering practice. Our Production Engineering group is focused on ensuring products successfully make it to our production environment and continue running properly once there. Production Engineering is made up of our Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, and Client Technical Services teams. This position will work among these teams to ensure the integrity and compliance of all application data.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience with development within regulated industries (Finance, Healthcare, etc.).

The Work Itself

  • Support Risk, Audit, and Compliance initiatives
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Collaborate with the CTS Metrics and Analytics Principal to understand compliance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with published application standards

The Skills You Bring

Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience working with internal and external third parties for application support, upgrades, and issue resolution
  • Experience with ticketing systems, audit tools, and user provisioning platforms
  • Experience with data classification frameworks
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements as it relates to application management
  • Working knowledge of controls for user access, data classification, and logging
  • Working knowledge of audit trails, log retention policies, and incident response procedures
  • Familiarity with application logging, monitoring, and reporting tools
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with IT operations, development teams, and other Line of Business (LOB) partners
  • Strong ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to take initiative and identify/pursue process enhancements
  • Detail and results oriented
  • Prior work experience in financial services and/or other regulated environments is a plus

Base Pay Range: $90000 - $150000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. 
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
