The Opportunity

Responsibilities include completion of quality reviews on transactions, phone calls and assisting QA team leader with activities related to planning, implementation and reporting of reviews and results. As an Insurance QA expert, you will assess quality trends, provide analyses and solutions to recurring or unusual problems, and also apply extensive knowledge of policies and procedures to make recommendations for changes to systems, practices or policies. The Analyst is expected to assist the QA manager with training and onboarding of new QA Specialists as they rotate into the team. This candidate will be an essential part of a team responsible for managing risks and providing valuable continuous improvement feedback for the Insurance Service Center (ISC) associates.

The Work Itself

·         Perform QA reviews efficiently and accurately

·         Serve as a subject matter expert on the completion of various QA evaluations performed for ISC

·         Utilize QA software systems such as Avaya, Form Designer, iWarranty, AllData, & ProDemand to complete review tasks

·         Utilize Cognos reports, Excel, and Power Bi to produce reports

·         Participate in discussions with ISC Operations business partner to review outliers and trends

·         Identify continuous improvement opportunities relative to QA efficiency and accuracy

·         Assist the QA manager with ad hoc audit and compliance requests as requested

·         Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with personnel across Ally Insurance

The Skills You Bring

·         Bachelor degree in automotive technology/ business preferred

·         1-2+ years of insurance VSC claims related experience

·         Ability to learn new processes, systems and controls quickly, adding immediate value with occasional limited training or resources

·         Strong Microsoft Office skills; including Excel, Word, and Outlook

·         Working knowledge of Power Bi a plus

·         Attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills a must
