Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.

The Opportunity

Support Ally Bank in the handling and disposition of all cases relating to New Accounts and Pended Applications. Provide accurate and timely processing regarding cases. Assist with research needed to resolve and decision applications. Candidate will participate in group projects, be responsible for customer care as well as providing instruction and support for the bank’s contact center.

In office role with hybrid schedule, 3 days in office and 2 from home 

Shift = Sunday through Thursday 8am - 5pm central time


The Work Itself

  • Serve as a primary contact for the resolution of Sales Force issues
  • Assist with the research needed to resolve all bank inquiries
  • Interact with the Customer Call Center, Ally Bank customers, as well as non-customers
  • Recommend procedure/policy changes needed to improve customer experience
  • Complete various reports to management
  • Interact with Fraud Analyst within unit to ensure issues are not fraudulent
  • Interact with various departments within operations to remediate customer issues and discover solutions for case resolution
  • Work to reduce percent of accounts in pending to within Bank standards
  • All other duties as assigned.

The Skills You Bring

  • Customer Service experience providing resolutions is required
  • Banking experience preferred 
  • Experience in Windows-based PC skills (Microsoft Office) required
  • Outgoing and eager to learn across business functions
  • Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills are essential
  • Ability to multi-task and to effectively process diverse workloads concurrently
  • Ability to work shift Sunday - Thursday 8AM-5PM central time zone

Base Pay Range: $49920 - $60320 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. 
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
