The Opportunity

  • This work is to be performed entirely outside of Colorado.

     

  • Responsible for leading support activities for Auto Consumer operations, including items such as intake and prioritization processes and routines. This may include partnering with multiple operational and support teams to maintain a prioritized list of strategic priorities, projects, and process enhancements. May also involve governance, legal, risk, and compliance activities.

  • Collaborate to ensure alignment on processes, priorities, and resource availability
  • Collaborate to ensure processes are aligned and complimentary
  • Develop, lead, and collaborate with cross-functional working teams to achieve results
  • Assist with building out team standards, procedures or structure as needed
  • Develop presentations and present information as needed
  • Proactively engage in projects with thought leadership to recommend solutions
  • Lead and develop a team of analysts
  • Evaluate employee performance and leadership including succession planning and development
  • Perform special projects/assignments as needed
  • Meet budgetary objectives by adjusting project scope/constraints

The Skills You Bring

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree (Business) Or equivalent in work experience
  • Preferred: Master’s degree (Business) Or equivalent in work experience

Required:

  • 8+ years leading simple to sophisticated projects
  • 8+ years developing task lists and project plans
  • 8+ years distilling and communicating information to leaders
  • 8+years analyzing business problems and influencing outcomes
  • 8+years identifying and mitigating risk
  • 5+ years management experience recommended
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio)
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Flexible demeanor, ability to perform under pressure
  • Deliver on our commitments (high say/do ratio)
  • Dedication to quality, detailed approach, and pride in what we deliver
  • Passion for getting work done despite obstacles and setbacks
  • Risk-conscious approach in line with Ally's Risk Appetite Framework
  • Objective thinking and perspective (courage of our convictions)
  • Independent and results-oriented worker; generate high quantity and quality with little oversight.

Preferred:

  • Advanced experience in the consumer financing industry (auto, mortgage, etc.)
  • Experience in auto finance: direct lending, indirect lending, acquired retail auto receivables
  • Sophisticated working experience with JIRA software
  • Advanced experience in assessing legal, compliance, or regulatory risks
