The Opportunity
The Work Itself
- Drive process improvements and efficiency gains within Deposit Operations.
- Provide subject matter expertise on assigned processes/tasks, projects, Strategic initiatives and/or regulations impacting Money Movement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal partners such as Technology, Compliance, Legal and the Contact Center, as well as external partners/third-party vendors.
- Develop and document detailed business requirements, process flows, use cases and functional specifications for Money Movement initiatives.
- Manage medium to large scale projects across multiple business lines within Deposit Operations.
- Plan project timelines, resources and deliverables; Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system changes and enhancements, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to risk mitigation and controls.
- Conduct risk analysis and risk mitigation of assigned projects/tasks.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related field required
- Master's degree a plus
- 5 + years Project Management experience required
- PMP or CAPM certification preferred
- Process management experience (i.e. LEAN, Six Sigma, BPM) knowledge/experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, payment processing and fraud prevention.
- Knowledge of banking regulations preferred (i.e. Reg E, Reg CC, Reg DD, UCC, BSA).
- Familiarity with banking systems and technologies, including core banking platforms and payment processors.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive process improvements.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to work across diverse teams.
- Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
