Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. The Opportunity


Ally work locations are Fort Washington PA, Charlotte NC, Lewisville TX, Detroit MI - In office role with Hybrid schedule

As a Manager on the Project Change Delivery Team, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills, along with your Project Management experience to identify opportunities and solve challenges in Deposit Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with multiple lines of business to manage projects, implement process improvements and develop analytics that drive operational performance and efficiencies, cost savings and automation. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate business needs and translate those needs into actionable requirements in a dynamic and agile environment. Critical thinking, attention to detail and flexibility are key traits of that success.

The Work Itself

  • Drive process improvements and efficiency gains within Deposit Operations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on assigned processes/tasks, projects, Strategic initiatives and/or regulations impacting Money Movement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal partners such as Technology, Compliance, Legal and the Contact Center, as well as external partners/third-party vendors.
  • Develop and document detailed business requirements, process flows, use cases and functional specifications for Money Movement initiatives.
  • Manage medium to large scale projects across multiple business lines within Deposit Operations.
  • Plan project timelines, resources and deliverables; Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system changes and enhancements, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to risk mitigation and controls.
  • Conduct risk analysis and risk mitigation of assigned projects/tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related field required
  • Master's degree a plus
  • 5 + years Project Management experience required
  • PMP or CAPM certification preferred
  • Process management experience (i.e. LEAN, Six Sigma, BPM) knowledge/experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations, payment processing and fraud prevention.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations preferred (i.e. Reg E, Reg CC, Reg DD, UCC, BSA).
  • Familiarity with banking systems and technologies, including core banking platforms and payment processors.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive process improvements.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to work across diverse teams.
  • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Base Pay Range: $90000 - $125000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. 
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
