The Opportunity
The Manager – Sales Alliance role supports the Large Dealer Group accounts, provides field support, and related operations. This role serves as relationship lead and ongoing advisor for specific Large Dealer Groups across the country. They may manage a team of product analysts providing supervision, guidance, and support of daily operations and special projects. The role will be responsible for increasing volume and revenue for the Large Dealer Groups across the country.
The Work Itself
- Increase volume and revenue from strategic Large Dealer Group accounts.
- Train, coach, equip, strategic accounts to enable additional sales.
- Assist or lead Zoom and In-Person training for select accounts as needed.
- Collaborate with matrix partners to facilitate solutions for clients.
- Work with C-suite level clients and provide solutions to garner additional business.
- Influence analytical and data-driven functions with extensive deep dives into Ally's current strategies and recommend strategic direction.
- Propose strategies to enhance current capabilities impacting all product life cycle stages.
- Take ownership of all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provide a single point of contact for those projects.
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred
- 5 years in customer service or financial services industry is required, 7 years of experience is preferred
- At least 5 years leadership experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerBI.
- High level of written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to filter through large quantities of data and pull out themes and significant trends.
- Extensive financial services experience, strong analytical experience.
- Flexible and adaptive to changing situations.
- Strong relationship building skills and experience operating within a matrix organization.
- Independent worker with strong time management skills.
- Negotiation/conflict resolution skills.
- Project management skills.
- Initiative to discover innovative ways for continuous improvement.
