The Opportunity

Hybrid role open to Lewisville, Charlotte, Detroit, Fort Washington

This  role's primary responsibility will be to strategically support certain areas of the Auto Business that are still in early stages of evolution . This role presents you with a opportunity to grow with the business, as you provide analytical insights and create Credit Strategies to drive growth. Your job will require you to interact with a wide variety of teams across Auto , thereby allowing you to learn from the best of leaders. You work itself will include Adv-Busness Analytics as well as Data Science, providing you with a steep opportunity to learn.

The Work Itself

  • As Manager of Credit strategy, you will be responsible for delivering data backed strategies to optimize Credit policy, Automated decisioning and Stip policy
  • Work cross functionally with Business, Pricing , Product, Sales, Risk, Servicing  teams to strategically grow a profitable business
  • Develop and implement a data backed, granular analytical framework to identify opportunity segments
  • Analyze predictive ability of new data elements/ sources to augment existing models
  • Partner with Business intelligence team to develop tools and Reports
  • Play a big role in Hiring, and developing a team of Strategy analysts

The Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years of deep experience in Consumer Finance - Credit risk analytics / Strategy  
  • 2+ years leading and managing teams
  • Exceptional analytical skills , with hands on experience to dive into details while staying focused on Business goals and priorities
  • Proven experience in working with leaders across various functions
  • Strong experience in  SAS, SQL Python and/or  other data analysis tools.
  • Experience with logistic regression, decision trees, survival analysis, use of algorithms into analytics and modeling and / or Machine Learning techniques is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to learn rapidly and solve problems dynamically.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • BS or MS in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Science or similar quantitative analytical field.
