Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity

The Manager, Advanced Analytics will be responsible for the implementation of marketing technologies to support the execution and analysis of database marketing campaigns for Ally. As an integral part of the database marketing team, this person will interact with technology, business partners on the marketing team and line of business to support the execution of marketing campaigns.

The Work Itself

  • Work closely with business and technology partners to effectively plan and manage highly integrated projects in support of email/direct mail campaigns based on detailed customer characteristics, legal regulations, statistical models and client requests.
  • Develop and implement test plans to compare campaign setup, audience segmentation, delivery, and performance metrics between multiple systems.
  • Acts as team's interface to IT and Business Partners; develops/maintains strong relationship with vendor teams and vendor management.
  • Lead a team of two analysts by providing direction and oversight to project teams to design, develop, deploy and sustain solutions that maintain marketing operations.
  • Responsible for resolving issues and mitigating risks, escalating issues/ risks when appropriate.
  • Translate business partner requirements into technical specifications.
  • Conduct detail-oriented validation audits of all deliverables to ensure 100% accuracy of campaign data.

The Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years of professional experience in campaign management and analysis required.
  • Experience working in financial services preferred.
  • Experience leading teams preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Strong technical abilities leveraging programming tools such as SAS EG, SAS Viya, SQL, Snowflake, Python or R required. 
  • Experience in system migration and/or integration projects preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to work with diverse business partners with competing objectives.
  • Attention to detail and strong focus on quality.
  • Professional communication across roles and functions throughout the organization.

Base Pay Range: $110000 - $180000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. 
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
