The Opportunity
The Associate Analyst for Process Optimization serves as the "analytical safeguard" for our internal operations. The primary responsibility for this role is providing root-cause analysis to for an identified issue and not only organize but optimize the solution. This role is designed for a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives on diving into complex data to ensure our business processes are running efficiently and in full compliance with established standards.

The Work Itself
- Data Investigation: Use SQL and Excel to perform "deep-dive" analysis to identify root causes, quantify impact and identify trends or anomalies in Operations.
- Process Automation & Improvement: Use scripting, workflow tools, or system integrations to automate repetitive processes and reduce manual errors.
- Process Documentation & Mapping: Work with functional units (Data Management, Business Systems) to map out current-state workflows and maintain an accurate library of internal processes.
- Compliance Auditing: Review and follow existing operational manuals to test process compliance. Identify deviations from standard procedures and flag risks to management.
- Gap Identification: Monitor internal systems to identify "gray areas" where current processes may be failing to meet quality or efficiency standards.
- Cross-Functional Support: Act as a technical resource for the Operations team, providing the data necessary to implement process improvements.
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Math, Economics, Finance, and/or business management strongly preferred
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Advanced Excel
- Experience in an analytical, audit, or operational support role preferred but not required.
- Analytical Mindset: A strong ability to navigate "gray areas" where a simple pass/fail doesn't exist, requiring logical reasoning and business acumen.
- Detail Orientation: A "detective" approach to work—you enjoy finding the needle in the haystack and ensuring every piece of data aligns with the manual.
- Communication: Ability to clearly flag and explain complex errors to managers and cross-functional stakeholders; manage key elements of a workstream, escalating / seeking help when necessary
