The Work Itself
- Support and complete a risk-based annual testing and monitoring plan; report on results
- Work with the broader Monitoring and Testing team to identify, assess, measure, mitigate, control, monitor, test, report, and escalate risks, including aggregated risks across the enterprise
- Credibly challenge and advise the Business Line with respect to the management of risks
- Independently test the efficiency of controls
- Document (i.e., formal report) and articulate areas of concern to the Business
- Participate in the review and challenge of BL credit policies, standards, and procedures.
The Skills You Bring
- 3+ years in the financial services industry required, preferably in auto lending or an Internal Audit role
- Prior experience writing Issues and reports.
- Underwriting and or Audit experience preferred
- Ability to develop and implement policy testing and monitoring strategies of consumer auto portfolio.
- Strong familiarity with risk and control concepts.
- Effective collaboration at all levels of the organization.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to work independently and initiate proactively.
- Ability to support multiple assignments and collaborators, self-prioritize workload, and coordinate with teammates to ensure that deadlines are met.
