The Mailroom and Insurance Repair Check Endorsement Consultant processes checks in our mailroom while providing excellent customer service. Consultants have an opportunity to work in a collaborative detailed driven environment. Ally Work Location for this role is: Jacksonville, FL only
The shift for this role can be up to five (5) days in the office based on work needs. Candidate must be willing to come in five (5) days.
The work time is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm EST
The Work Itself
- Provide excellent verbal and written communication(s) to both our internal and external customers.
- Ensure processes are done thoroughly, accurately and adhere to policy and procedure.
- Assist with Mailroom duties in the office throughout the day including both incoming mail and outgoing mail.
- Process and handle live checks in accordance with the Enterprise Physical Security Policy.
- Demonstrate a level of urgency in handling a variety of tasks while meeting required established turnaround times (TAT)
- Accurately update systems of record with status details and other information relating to requests.
- Navigate multiple computer systems to complete in depth account analysis and research.
- Mitigate risk by looking beyond the obvious for information or behaviors that may warrant investigation and/or escalation.
- Proactively identify and recommend solutions to improve existing policies, procedures, and business processes to meet the changing needs of the business and customer.
- Maintain strict confidentiality with customer, employee, and company information.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
The Skills You Bring
- Prior experience in customer service, financial services, or similar industry.
- Prior phone handling experience preferred.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Strong Phone Skills
- Strong Dependability is a must.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Possess the ability to identify and diffuse escalated situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Working knowledge of Ally systems preferred
- Ability to manage workflow and adapt to changing conditions on business objectives and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and respond to diverse types of personalities.
- Strong communication skills in both written and verbal, and ability to foster strong working relationships.
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail, sound judgment and analytical ability to develop logical solutions.
- Above average computer knowledge and technical skills; adept at using multiple software products including but not limited to, CRM, Excel, Salesforce and Microsoft Office Programs.
- Demonstrates a high degree of personal accountability, passion, and execution.
- High energy and positive "can-do" attitude
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
