The Opportunity

The Sr Sourcing Analyst is responsible for supporting the assigned LOB's and driving customer satisfaction and savings within their areas of responsibility, as well as helping to mitigate supplier and contractual risks for the business. Ongoing Management: Support the enablement of contracts in the Coupa contract repository. Support the management of contracts and initiate contract amendments, renewals and terminations. Support the management of users, suppliers, and initiate improvement opportunities.

This role will primarily focus on technology sourcing activities and may cover some professional services deals.


The Work Itself

  • Lead business-based deal negotiations (Statement of Works, order forms, etc).
  • Lead the bid process for large deals, including negotiating commercial terms and pricing to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Support the development and implementation of category strategies to meet organizational objectives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with business partners and key stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Routinely monitor and socialize market trends, industry developments, and assigned supplier performance to identify opportunities and mitigate risks within assigned categories.
  • Perform supplier optimization including identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, conduct supplier assessments and due diligence to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align strategic sourcing activities accordingly.
  • Analyze spend data and procurement metrics to capture cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements.
  • Contribute to supplier scorecards and performance metrics to ensure accountability and drive supplier performance improvements and conduct business reviews for Tiered suppliers.
  • Support supplier diversity initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies

The Skills You Bring

  • 3+ years of strategic sourcing, negotiation and other relevant procurement management experience in technology sourcing.
  • Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • Appropriate professional affiliations/certifications preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, business and industry analysis, financial analysis, supplier selection and management, contract negotiations, conflict management, decision making, strategic thinking.
  • Has demonstrated the ability to lead a work effort to negotiate price, rates, details, contract terms and conditions.
  • Analytical ability to develop and execute strategic and tactical plans.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships through business partnering.
  • Must possess good individual communication skills Is able to multi task.
  • Has demonstrated the ability to manage large projects across multiple parties while delivering results.
  • Has demonstrated the ability to handle difficult situations with clients and/or vendor negotiations.
