The Opportunity
The Senior Bank Fraud Investigation Supervisor's primary responsibility is to oversee the work of the high dollar bank fraud investigators. These bank fraud investigators are responsible for filing SARs, investigating Elder Abuse, and any cases that have an exposure of $5000 or more. In this role, you will be reviewing cases, ensuring they are submitted timely and correctly
The Work Itself
- Review and provide trainings on SAR process and filing
- Reviewing investigations for accuracy
- Present statistics to senior leadership
- Conduct workbench review (ensure cases are accurate, SAR filed timely)
- Ensuring charge offs and isolations are processed
- Update findings from internal quality control
- Review process and procedures and make updates as necessary
- Train investigators on conducting thorough investigations, leveraging interrogation/interviewing skills
- Performance management for up to seven (7) direct reports
The Skills You Bring
- 3+ years of Bank Fraud Investigations experience required
- Advanced interview / interrogation skills required
- Working knowledge on identifying, investigating, and filing elder / vulnerable adult exploitation cases required
- Regulatory reporting knowledge recommended
- At least five (5) years of experience in financial services strongly preferred
- Law enforcement experience within financial crimes highly recommended
- Experience and the demonstrated capability for leading and motivating staff.
- Experience in all aspects of performance development
