The Opportunity
The Work Itself
- Support the team in the monthly execution of the Operational Loss cycle; responsibilities include data collection, data validation, reporting, and attestation.
- Support the team in reporting routines and communicate operational loss trends and analysis to Management and Senior Leadership.
- Effective collaboration and diligent follow-up with Business Lines and Independent Risk Management teams (including Data Source Providers) to ensure timely and accurate execution of the Operational Loss expectations, including the escalation of exceptions.
- Support the team on the maturity of the Operational Loss Program, including reporting, data quality, and data assessment.
- Proactively develop and implement process improvements for existing team deliverables to improve efficiency and accuracy.
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of financial services experience (e.g., Risk Management, Audit, Compliance, Finance, Treasury, Accounting, etc.)
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and highly organized with strong attention to detail
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
- Ability to multi-task, handle competing priorities, and follow through on commitments
