Location: remote in the U.S. (near a major airport)
The Work Itself
- Provides thought leadership and leads the Enterprise framework activities, creating strategies for implementation through operational areas.
- Requires in-depth functional and broad company knowledge.
- Participates in corporate strategy development through advocacy for frameworks and projects.
- Makes decisions and implements policies that affect businesses across the Enterprise.
- High level of accountability to Sr. Executive Team.
- Responsible for leading, managing, and developing others and managers, including coaching on leading teams, facilitation and instructional design.
- Performs strategic leadership role in developing initiatives in alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Converts Enterprise goals into strategic actions.
- Maintains focus on activities that have the greatest impact on business strategy, formulates strategies and methods in alignment with enterprise goals and learning practices, assesses effectiveness of Enterprise and re-engineers’ structure.
- Trusted and valued business partner, seen as a leader both internally and externally.
- Frequently sought out as a subject matter expert; strong and proven track record of results and credibility; maintains confidentiality; acts with integrity.
- Creates and communicates a vision to the Enterprise that inspires and aligns, able to discern the implications the business environment and direction bring to the organization.
The Skills You Bring
- 7+ years in customer service or financial services industry is needed.
- 7+ years leadership experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred, MBA is ideal.
- An advanced degree in Education or Organizational Development is preferred.
- Knowledge of learning disciplines, HR/Learning - Development experience, proven strategic planning experience on a corporate wide basis is preferred.
- Professional Certification preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite, with learning technologies or software a plus.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills Drives collaboration across the organization at all levels of leadership.
- Demonstrates strong influence at an operational and/or functional level.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple strategic projects and tactical deliverables, be self-directed and able to motivate others, apply analytical skills, and think creatively; maintains composure under pressure.
- Demonstrates initiative and personal accountability; meets work demands according to the highest standards; maintains confidentiality; viewed as a trustworthy advisor; acts with honesty and integrity in all situations.
- Working knowledge of the industry, competition and the business; strong business acumen; integrate L-D in business plans and strategies; strong contributor of Enterprise vision / mission.
- 40-50% travel.
