Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity

The ideal candidate for this position must reside near a major airport, as travel is required up to 50% of the time. As the Director of Fixed Operations Consulting, you will be responsible for generating revenue and expanding the consulting business. Our team partners with automotive dealers to enhance profitability within fixed operations by identifying and addressing opportunities in areas such as factory warranty compliance, customer pay services, and other key operational processes. Consulting services are performed in the U.S. and on a limited basis in Canada.

The Work Itself

  • Lead and support a team of consultants providing ongoing coaching, development and guidance.
  • Develop and implement market strategies to drive revenue growth, while educating partners on the value of our consulting services.
  • Regularly review sales activities, targets, and strategies to maximize team performance; produce analysis and reporting on leads, consulting activities and revenue.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by seeking opportunities for process optimization and automation.
  • Collaborate with matrix partners and provide strategies to support new business acquisition and retention of existing accounts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and proactively identify opportunities to enhance program strategies.
  • Manage and develop talent including creating and executing a succession plan for the team.
  • Travel as needed to attend dealer presentations, symposiums, and deliver proposals to key clients alongside your team and partners
  • Represent the company at industry events by delivering external presentations as requested
  • Ensure marketing materials are current and regularly assess competitive offerings to maintain a strong market position.

The Skills You Bring

  • 9+ years of relevant experience required. 
  • Experience in automotive retail fixed operations, consulting, or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Proven sales and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, select and develop a diverse, high performing team.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and nurture talent.
  • Well-developed business management, presentation and relationship-building skills. 
  • Passion for innovation, collaboration and creative problem-solving.
  • HS diploma or equivalent required

Base Pay Range: $125000 - $190000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. 
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
