The Director – Digital Products and Web Platforms will be strategically engaged on multiple in-flight initiatives across Ally’s LOBs (Invest, Bank, Auto, Lending). You bring skills to build and define web platform and enterprise digital strategy as well as lead multiple teams that constantly ideates, develops, and refines some of our best products.

The Work Itself

  • Collaborate with application owners and technical leaders to streamline efficiency, define strategies, and digital solutions
  • Build a culture of engagement and collaboration for a team of direct reports
  • Lead a group of Digital Product Owners to create and execute team roadmaps and feature delivery in partnership with technology and business stakeholders
  • Plan and drive monthly stakeholder reviews and supplier management routines with internal and external delivery patterns 
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and VOC to ensure products maintain their competitive advantage
 

The Skills You Bring

  • 7+ years of experience delivering digital solutions in an agile environment; with a primary focus on customer facing web-based experiences.
  • 3-5 years of people management experience
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organizations and a spirit of building trusting relationships
  • Organized and thoughtful approaches to problem solving; structures business problems clearly and effectively to create and evaluate potential solutions
  • Desire to work within a diverse group of people and passion for challenging the status quo; ensuring the team is equipped with the ability to achieve their individual objectives
  • Strong work ethic and drive with an enthusiasm for owning your work and driving development
