The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Director of Product to lead the product strategy of our CRM Salesforce. This individual is accountable for partnering with business partners across our consumer space and shaping capabilities to create business value.

As the Director of CRM Product, you will lead a product & SF Admin teams to deliver products that are secure, scalable, and relentlessly focused on customer experience. You’ll partner with engineering, operations, and design leaders to push the boundaries of what’s possible—introducing AI-driven solutions, simplifying customer journeys, and creating experiences that feel effortless from first interaction to resolution. The role will hold a highly influential role and is responsible for delivering various capabilities to meet strategy, initiatives and established goals.

The Work Itself

  • This individual will be responsible for ensuring an optimal online and/or customer experience for customers, while meeting business partner objectives.
  • The Product Director is responsible for enhancing business performance of product by gathering, documenting, and providing business requirements, system requirement specification reviews, analytics requirements, and user acceptance testing for projects and releases that impact digital properties.
  • Role will include leading a small team of product owners responsible for improving existing processes, and championing new processes, to ensure the delivery of industry leading capabilities - quickly and with high quality - to Ally customers.
  • This role is in charge of planning, budgeting, implementing, and managing costs for the product space.
  • In addition, the Director is in charge of business as usual processes and identifying improvements.
  • This role will work closely with UX, technology and LOB partners.
  • Understand and measure product performance.
  • Understand the Voice of the Customer and champion the customer experience.
  • The role may manage vendor relationships including negotiations and 3rd party supplier management policies.

The Skills You Bring

  • 7+ years of relevant experience as a Product Owner require.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the CRM technology space
  • 5+ years of Salesforce experience required with strong expertise with Service Cloud and/or Financial Services Cloud 
  • 7+ years of experience defining competitive markets requirements and opportunities, and provide ongoing support that ensures the competitiveness of existing products preferred
  • Prior experience managing teams of at least 5+ people preferred 
  • Experience developing and executing plans, initiatives and communications related to specific products.
  • Bachelor degree in business, marketing, information systems, or a related field preferred.

Base Pay Range: $125000 - $190000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. 
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
