The Opportunity
The Dealer Incentive Senior Analyst position provides reporting and analytical support for the U.S. Insurance F&I Sales team, executive leadership and dealerships participating in programs. This position is responsible for developing incentive reporting, performance analytics, leading projects, and incentive administration. This senior role involves collaboration with matrix partners to create effective dealer incentives and introduce operational efficiencies to programs. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical skills, an exceptional eye for detail and data integrity, strong problem solving, highly organized, and excellent communication skills.
Role based in Detroit office with a flexible hybrid work schedule, 2 days in office.
The Work Itself
- Service the sales organization with dealer incentives to support corporate objectives
- Develop and maintain data analytics designed to assure robust incentive payment controls, assess trends, program performance and quality assurance
- Completes incentive administration, scheduled deliverables, budgets and forecast
- Build out incentive reporting, both ongoing and ad hoc, using a variety of analytical tools
- Leads projects working closely with leaders and provides insight for the development of new incentive strategies, tools, and processes
- Drive process improvements and strive to eliminate risk of error to manual processes through automation and analytical techniques
- Provides mentorship, technical and analytical guidance to team members
The Skills You Bring
- 3 + years reporting and analytics experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; major in an analytical field such as business analytics, finance, accounting, or related field preferred
- Advanced proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerBI or similar tools required
- Exceptional attention to detail and proven analytical skills with ability to draw conclusions from data that can support strategic decision making
- Proven experience with contributing and leading projects
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
- Self-motivated with demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge/experience in financial services and the automotive industry preferred
