The Opportunity

The Customer Data Platform Delivery Leader will lead our Product Owners and be a key contributor to Ally's current and next generation digital transformation efforts. This leader will work with the Product Owners to align Agile squads in the delivery of key initiatives and requires a broad understanding of marketing technology stacks and integrations of CDP to consumer facing applications such as customer interactions hubs, emails, chat bots, web personalization, call centers, and analytics tools. The Delivery Leader will be a strong, strategic and collaborative leader with a background in Agile delivery. The Delivery Leader will need to work across the enterprise with the Product Owners to develop user stories, maintain and groom the backlog, and effectively communicate prioritization and delivery impacts. The Delivery Leader will need to understand the value proposition of the technology, partner with senior executive management, business partners, data scientists, engineering, and IT organizations to build a strong roadmap, and bring innovative insights within and outside the industry to craft the company's overall capabilities to build and sustain competitive differentiation.

 

The Work Itself

    • Assess and Balance multiple business requests, prioritize based on business value, communicate the delivery schedule for current and upcoming development requests
    • Developing the digital roadmap and strategy of Customer Data Platform in partnership with business partners and stakeholders, and then break the roadmap down to a deliverable workstream specific to the PO's agile scrum squad.
    • Review functional requirements and identify gaps in data collection. Collaborate with teams from a matrixed organization to fill data gaps
    • Build out and document user cases, products, and supporting data requirements
    • Create and standardize templates and processes for data specifications, functional requirements, use case validations, training, and user adoption
    • Implement framework and processes to provide lineage of data collection, integration, and consumption
    • Ensure CDP is built with data security and governance to meet the organization's procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements
    • Ensure the highest standard of quality in the final solution

The Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years of Managing Others, Inspirational team leader, motivates teams to succeed
  • Shown people leadership and management capabilities
  • 5+ Experience in Agile methods and delivery
  • 5+ Experience in data architecture and data modeling as it relates to business focused deliverables
  • 5+ Experience in architecture patterns and computing technology at application, database, and system levels is required
  • Experience with working in banking, digital applications, CRM, paid media, social, and offline data is preferred
  • Solution oriented and business focused to set priorities based on available budget and resources
  • Proven success through partnership and collaboration with a cross-functional team
  • Proven ability to set strategic direction and drive high quality execution
