Ally and Your Career

Ally Financial only succeeds when its people do - and that’s more than some cliché people put on job postings. We live this stuff! We see our people as, well, people - with interests, families, friends, dreams, and causes that are all important to them. Our focus is on the health and safety of our teammates as well as work-life balance and diversity and inclusion. From generous benefits to a variety of employee resource groups, we strive to build paths that encourage employees to stretch themselves professionally. We want to help you grow, develop, and learn new things. You’re constantly evolving, so shouldn’t your opportunities be, too?

Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.

The Opportunity

This entry-level position is part of the Commercial Underwriting team at one of Ally’s five Regional Business Centers, which provide comprehensive, industry-leading service to Ally’s automotive dealership customers. This opportunity serves as a foundational role for highly motivated individuals eager to learn about the fast-paced automotive industry and commercial credit.

The role begins with a comprehensive training program designed to introduce the fundamentals of the position and Ally’s customer-focused approach to Commercial Auto Finance.  Following training, the Associate Commercial Credit Analyst will interact with automotive dealership personnel and internal stakeholders to gather information and perform in-depth financial evaluations.  These evaluations will form the basis for creating comprehensive account reviews, which will include recommendations on credit extensions to automotive dealerships (both existing and new relationships) to meet their business needs (such as inventory lines of credit, real estate and other commercial loans)

Along the way, the Associate Commercial Credit Analyst will receive ongoing developmental feedback, build relationships, and gain exposure to other functions.  This includes exposure to local management and executive leadership to gain insight into strategic decision-making processes.  Additionally, mentorship will be available to provide guidance and support from seasoned professionals committed to helping you succeed.  Performance-based developmental rotation opportunities may also be encouraged, allowing you to experience various other key roles within Auto Finance, thereby broadening your expertise and career prospects

Ally Work location is Cranberry Township, PA or Lawrenceville, GA only.
