The Opportunity
We are seeking a results-driven leader to build and scale our Continuous Improvement program. This role owns the strategy and execution of continuous improvement and process optimization across the Financial Crimes organization. The ideal candidate combines Lean/Six Sigma expertise with strong stakeholder management, change leadership, and data-driven decision-making to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, customer experience, process quality, and risk/control outcomes.
The Work Itself
- Develop and maintain the Operational Excellence roadmap aligned to company and Financial Crimes goals.
- Establish standards and methodologies for continuous improvement and problem solving.
- Lead process mapping, root-cause analysis, and redesign of end-to-end processes to reduce waste, cycle time, variability, and defects.
- Implement and apply Lean/Six Sigma, process tools and methodologies to change initiatives, identification of inefficiencies, performance deficiencies, and fraud control gaps.
- Build and maintain standardized operating procedures, work instructions, and control checklists with improvement changes.
- Partner with Operations, Risk, and Compliance to embed preventive and detective controls and ensure audit readiness, and alignment with RCSA.
- Define and manage metrics for efficiency, quality, cost, and customer experience for process and quality management
- Conduct productivity and capacity analyses; integrate analysis in partnership with workforce management processes.
- Establish voice-of-customer/voice-of-employee feedback loops and translate insights into improvement roadmaps.
- Develop a continuous improvement culture by introducing techniques during process engagement activities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops, process mapping and requirement gathering sessions.
- Prioritize and manage a portfolio of improvement initiatives with clear business cases, benefits tracking, and ROI.
- Influence and partner with leaders across Operations, Strategy, Product, Technology, Finance, and Customer Service.
- Present program status, risks, and impact to stakeholders; communicate progress transparently.
The Skills You Bring
- 7–10+ years of experience in Operational Excellence or Process Improvement, with 3–5+ years in a leadership role.
- 5-7+ years in Financial Crimes, Fraud desired
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement
- Strong analytical skills with experience in excel, BI tools, (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and basic statistical analysis.
- Experience with project/program management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall); PMP or equivalent is a plus.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and change management skills; ability to influence without authority.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field required
