The Work Itself
- As a Senior Analyst on the IT/Cyber Risk team, the qualified candidate is responsible for executing the creating and maintaining data visualizations in support of the TSD Risk Framework.
- Conduct thematic analysis to identify and assess technology and cyber risks in alignment with industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and FFIEC.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify emerging trends and patterns in technology and cyber risks, and provide actionable insights to enhance the bank's risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that risk assessments and thematic analyses are integrated into the bank's overall risk management framework.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on thematic analysis findings, and communicate these insights to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and controls based on thematic analysis outcomes.
The Skills You Bring
- 3+ years of relevant experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study preferred
- Proven experience in IT/cyber risk management, data analysis, or a related field within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis tools Excel, SQL, R.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- General understanding of industry frameworks and standards related to technology and cyber risk management, including NIST, ISO 27001, and FFIEC.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or similar are desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to think critically.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices for technology and cyber risk management.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support the IT/Cyber Governance Manager in executing committee and policy oversight activities.
