Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity

Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting the execution of secured and unsecured capital markets transactions, market intelligence, bank and rating agency relationships, and asset and liability management. The Senior Treasury Analyst is also responsible for routine activities, within aligned function, using existing procedures and policy. Senior Treasury Analysts are expected to perform day to day structured work assignments while requiring only moderate instruction and guidance from more senior level roles.

The Work Itself

  • Support the structuring and execution of secured (ABS) issuance, including oversight of investor presentations and rating agency materials; ongoing monitoring of secondary ABS performance.
  • Support the preparation and execution of unsecured corporate debt issuance, including oversight of investor presentations and rating agency materials; ongoing monitoring of unsecured secondary debt complex
  • Manage analyst workflow and deliverables related to ABS, corporate debt and equity issuances
  • Monitor peer performance/economic conditions and gather market intelligence
  • Support Ally's rating agency relationships, including analysis of credit ratings risks and opportunities and preparation of rating agency presentation materials
  • Establish strong relationships with relevant market participants including traders, bankers, corporate debt, and equity capital markets desks as well as external 3rd parties, including legal, trustees and auditors
  • Liaison between Ally and minority-owned brokerage firms by effectively communicating and helping foster more diverse counterparty engagement
  • Responsibility for accurately completing various regulatory and internal reports, analyses, and information requests
  • Support Ally’s overall cash, liquidity and funding initiatives, including forecasting and analysis
  • Liability management modeling and inter-company financial impact analysis, as well as supporting the execution of liability management activities
  • Monitor Ally’s equity securities and support the structuring, execution and ongoing monitoring of Ally's share repurchase program
  • Contribute to ad hoc analytical and strategic projects as necessary both within and beyond your primary function
  • Work collaboratively with Finance, Risk, Treasury, Legal, Accounting and other partners to ensure enterprise objectives are met

The Skills You Bring

  • Minimum of 3 or more years previous work experience in Finance, Treasury, Capital Markets or related field required
  • Proven track record of driving for results with minimal ongoing direction
  • Well-developed project management, analytical, and judgment skills
  • Maintains strong attention to detail
  • Investment banking or capital markets experience and/or CFA preferred
  • Energetic and inquisitive, quick learner, takes initiative
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Base Pay Range: $70000 - $120000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. 
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
